Originally, it was stuck installing on iPhone App Store. If you visit on the website the listing of an app you installed on any of your past or present Android devices, the app is shown as installed even if you uninstalled it or no longer have the device. After the sync, the screens matched, but the icon was gone.īy the way, this was for TalkATone voip/phone app. Thanks for the clarification, this is the way the Play Store is supposed to work. After the backup is complete, return to first steps to place app icon onto springboard and Apply change.īefore this fix, For a while, I was able to see the icon in iTunes, but not on the iPhone, and the screens where out-of-sync. To backup, Click Summary on the top menu, and select Backup Now from the Manual section at right. If you do have to sync, or it gives you some fearful message about apps being deleted, then cancel and backup your iPhone so you can reverse any data loss. I had all of the standard widgets like Music, News & Weather, and Power Control, but no option for Facebook, Twitter, or any other apps I installed. An "Apply" button will show up where the Sync button is located, replacing it.click that. I noticed a problem with my widgets on my Android device where the app widgets were not showing up. Drag it onto the springboard screen to the right. In the search box, type your missing app name. Go to Device > your-device on the side menu and Apps on the top menu. I was able to fix it with iTunes (11.01.12 and my IOS is 5.1.1).
